If the coil that's built up in the Russel 2k's  RSI releases the 1st target takes price down through the rising trendline which will induce further selling down to 750ish...

Lots of similarities with the 2007 top playing out. If this is a fractal then we are at the TOP right now....

UGA traingle break out ?

It seems someone has been trying to knock  back the energy markets recently with various rumors of SPR releases or the fed's done printing or the Saudi Arabia is going to print.. I mean pump enough oil for everyone, but through it all UGA has been building a triangle type pattern that suggests we're about to see an acceleration higher in fuel prices...

..or so it seems. Last time it diverged this much it launched like a rocket higher.. feels like coiled spring tension building generally speaking anyway so I give this a high probability just based on seat of pants gut feelings...

In the last 3 years there's not been as wide a spread between the Russel 2000 and copper (JJC) which can't seem to get above resistance...

quick rough overlay of avg. retail gasoline price vs. UGA

A quick glance at what UGA implies (breaking out of a nice cup and handle)  in terms of the national avg. price of gasoline suggests the $4.50ish range for gasoline in the next few weeks and possibly much higher depending on how much more printing Berstanky needs to do...
